For some time now I’ve been thinking about doing P90X. If you don’t know, P90X is a 12 DVD set of super intense workouts which you can do at home. I think a lot of the exercises are similar to what I’ve been doing over recent months but the workouts are longer, more structured, and possibly (I’m hoping) harder.

The program is set out over 90 days and I think if you follow the workouts you can’t really go wrong. I personally know people who have had great results with P90X plus I’ve read a lot of forum threads about it which indicate it really does work. I know it’s going to be hard but I’m determined to do it.
I also heard that the Insanity workouts are really good too. These are apparently more cardio based and most people seem to agree that P90X is better for weight loss than Insanity. I think I would prefer the Insanity workouts because they are body weight workouts but I really do need to lose weight so will start with P90X. I can always try Insanity once I complete the 90 days on this program.
